OUR SERVICES
At Sassy Cats, we understand that your pet is part of the family. Based in the Falkirk and West Lothian area, we provide dedicated, professional pet-sitting services from two crazy cat ladies one of which is also a crazy small animal and reptile lady. We have a life long love for animals and they will always come first.
We have over 30 years of experience caring for a variety of animals through foster, rescue and our own much loved pets and reptiles. Whether you’re away for a short trip or a longer break, your pet will be looked after in their own home with the same love, affection, and care we would give our own.
We are fully insured, certified pet first aiders and have experience giving medication and caring for pets with special needs. We will always prioritise the safety and wellbeing of the animals in our care. We can visit once or twice per day and will always give daily updates.

We would love to hear about your small family members and how we can help you feel comfortable leaving them with their Auntie Sassys while you are away.

About Sassy Cat Rescue & Rehoming

We had numerous requests from members of our social media groups and general public to rehome and rescue animals as well as running our own pet sitting business. As most of you are aware Julie and myself have worked in rescue as Trustees for around 8 years and around 30 years (or more) as volunteers for various other rescues.
Given the amount of requests we decided to go full steam ahead and do both. Our petsitting is our own baby but the rescue is a separate entity where all donations received will go back to the animals. Any donations on this page go straight to the rescue funds. We are a non profit rescue with our only focus being making sure that the animal we rescue is getting the care and new home it needs. From cats to reptiles we will do what we can to help.
We understand this is a really distressing time for owners and their pets and aim to make the process as stress free as possible.

This website represents both Sassy Cat Pet Sitters and Sassy Cat Pet Rescue (Scottish Charity No: SC054389) which are separate entities operating under the same management and website.
Sassy Cat Pet Rescue is a fully volunteer run, non profit charitable organisation dedicated to rescuing, caring for, and rehoming animals. All donations, sponsorships, and funds received for the rescue are used solely for the care, medical needs, and welfare of the animals. No individual receives compensation or payment from rescue-related funds. 100% of donations go directly to the animals.
Sassy Cat Pet Sitters is a for profit business that provides pet sitting services in and around the Falkirk and West Lothian area.
While both petsitting and rescue may share this platform for communication and community outreach, they are financially and operationally independent of one another and this has been made clear from the outset.
We are committed to being fully transparent and appreciate your support for both our business and our passion for animal rescue.
